It being Friday night and the local bar scene being only a couple blocks away, my friend and I decided to go out for a few drinks. We ended up meeting this random girl on the way who was walking by herself in the same direction. A little small talk led to the three of us hanging out the entire night. My friend seemed kind of into her, so I was cool just being a wing man. But as the night went on, more and more evidence started pointing to the fact that this girl might not just be looking for a good time, she might actually be a professional. Her attempt to hook my friend up with a drug dealer lead to a premature end to the evening, so no proposition for sex was ever made. Unfortunately that means we'll never know for sure what her real agenda was. My friend kept on trying to defend her as a spoiled rich girl, who just wanted to party, but I like to think I knew better. So to make my case, I came up with this list of reasons why the girl we hung out with that night might have been a hooker.

10. She got dropped off in our neighborhood by a shirt-less guy with tattoos and a shaved head driving a new Hummer.

9. Without us even looking in her direction, she took the initiative to come up to us and ask what bar we were going to and proceeded to walk with us there.

8. At the bar she claimed that she always runs into people she knows, but complained about how much she hates it when that happens.

7. My friend asked her for her number, but she told him she didn't own a cell phone, just a pager. At the same time she was more than happy to write down his full name and number.

6. She claimed she had only lived in the area for few months, but when it came to drugs, she could get you "anything you wanted."

5. She wore a cross around her neck and a chastity ring on her finger, but at the same time had no problem groping two guys she had just met.

4. She borrowed my friends phone to make a call, and even though she didn't have a boyfriend, referred to herself as "Chris's Girl" to the person on the other end.

3. She mentioned how much she loves summer because of all the tourists.

2. She told us that she had just gotten released after doing three days of jail time. When we asked her why, she claimed it was just a misunderstanding and the charges had been dropped.

1. After rolling her eyes repeatedly when my friend was hitting on her, I told her sarcastically , "Don't have too much fun." She looked at me straight faced and said, "Oh, this isn't fun. This is work."

So, you be the judge. Was she a hooker? I'm about 99% sure, and after making my argument, I think my friend is almost convinced. All he could say was, "You knew all this, and you didn't say anything?" While I admit things eventually got a little out of hand, in the end I didn't let anything bad happen, and it was much funnier this way. He now contends that he thought she was dirty the whole time and he wouldn't have done anything with her anyway. I really want to believe that's true. It can't be any fun paying a girl to leave your house the next morning.
